The diagram above and the corresponding steps below map the complete path of a single transaction. USA ePay is only one part of the transaction process. Merchants are responsible for their own merchant accounts.  Haven Merchant Services can provide merchant accounts for nearly any business need.

1.  The customer places an order with their credit card through any type of point-of-sale;   shopping cart, retail store, wireless PDA, online terminal, etc.

2.  USA ePay is sent an authorization request and securely sends the request to Customer's Credit Card Issuer to verify card and whether funds are available.

3.  Approval or Decline response is sent back to USA ePay in secure format.

4.  Upon order Approval, merchant fills customer's order.

5.  Merchant sends settlement request to USA ePay and USA ePay settles batch with merchant's account provider.

6.  With settlement complete, Merchant Account Provider sends funds directly to merchant's checking account.
